Earlier this year, Michael Wirth travelled to a remote area in B.C.’s Selkirks to reach a once before skied line called Comstock Couloir. Wirth completed the second recorded descent of the line 14 years after Greg Hill completed the first. “I did it in a continuous solo effort which yielded: 40 km (24.45 miles) 4.14 km (13,590 feet) of elevation gain in 14 hours and 15 minutes,” Wirth said. “This feat was one that challenged both my mind and body in the days preceding and throughout the expedition itself. Destiny 2‘s latest hotfix, build version 6.2.0.8, released to minimal fanfare only for Bungie to then clarify that it most certainly wasn’t used to release a new batch of secret content. Though it’s been a while since the game’s community last needed to work together to solve a mystery, some of Destiny‘s defining moments were driven specifically by secret releases and encounters. Namely, Destiny 2 hasn’t had a major new secret mission in years at this point, and the community is always ready to jump onto a new mystery.
