Then, FTX collapsed. This further damaged the credibility of cryptocurrencies. Institutional interests waned, and investors turned away. What is more upsetting is that an investigation following up on FTX’s collapse revealed a massive loophole in the crypto space. Sam Bankman-Fried has been running an enormous Ponzi scheme and managed to fool everyone, even top institutions like Temasek. Billions But I won’t be talking about that. After establishing itself as a Web3 pioneer, the crypto exchange fell to pieces when a look at its books revealed a large gap between its assets and its debts. Twitter and bitcoin share a key similarity in that their success while it lasted was just hubris. Realize that both companies were birthed by a virtual medium capable of monetizing turds if there is discoverable demand for them. Cardi B’s megahit single Wet Ass Pussy was proof of this. The baby kentrosaurus bumps the gate of the pet carrier in the back of my SUV.
